Feral Pest and Vegetation Management – Stephen Andrew MP

Feral Pest and Vegetation Management – another approach needed

On the ground in my Electorate and being in Pest Management industry for many years I have witnessed and heard first hand many of the stories from land owners….and what affects them the most. The destruction and devastion inflicted upon the people of farming lands by beuracratic red tape, policy and legislation that restricts and prohibits their livelihoods and bottom line in more and more ways. The destruction and loss of productivity that comes with unmanaged and restrictive Pest and Vegetation Management practices is immeasureable!Far more can and needs be done by Government, for better implementation of Pest and Vegetation Management Practices to protect Biosecurity, Farming Lands, and the land owners bottomline. What are you thoughts? if you think the pest and vegetation management laws and practices are flawed, let us know! Check out my video below on the destruction caused by Feral Pigs in a cane paddock in my electorate
