Labor switches from Pensioners, Attacks the Grieving

Pauline Hanson responds to Labor's lies

Yesterday One Nation secured support from the Senate for an amendment that saved bereavement payments for needy Australians who suffer the loss of a close relative. Now, despite the fact they supported this amendment, Labor has launched another grubby attack!Labor may lie about it but the truth is One Nation ensured that bereavement payments would be protected. Labor lies about the fact that last year One Nation voted to restore penalty rates and Labor always fail to mention they actually stopped One Nation moving an amendment to restore penalty rates to workers whose penalty rates had been stripped off them because of deals made between big businesses and union bosses.Labor lies about One Nation's stance on asset sales. The truth is for the last 22 years no one has been more strongly opposed to the sale of assets than I have been.Worst of all Labor lies about the fact that their new tax proposal will disproportionately affect low-income Australians and many pensioners. Here is a fact for you won't hear for Labor. More than 610,000 Australians on the lowest annual incomes stand to lose an average of $2100 a year in tax refunds under Bill Shorten’s proposal to abolish cash rebates for tax credits on shares held by retirees, investors and ordinary taxpayers.
